Optimization of Face-Milling Conditions on the Base of Material Removal Rate (MRR)

Abstract

There is a significant body of literature related to optimization of cutting processes. This paper shows a new approach to face-milling optimization based upon the intensity of stock removal. The state variable Q {cm3/min} expresses both technological and production management aspects at the same time. An investigation of the effect of relative cost-deviation will also be shown.
