A globalizáció a nemzetközi kereskedelmi szerződések megugrásához vezetett, de végrehajtásuk gyakran kihívásokkal néz szembe, ami vitákat eredményez. A globális gazdasági érdekek védelme érdekében a nemzetközi közösség nemzetközi szerződésekhez fordult a vitarendezési keretek kialakítása érdekében. Ez a cikk hangsúlyozza a nemzetközi kereskedelmi viták megoldásának fontosságát és a szerződések szerepét ebben a folyamatban. Különféle vitarendezési módszereket vizsgál, a tárgyalástól a peres eljárásig, választottbírósági eljárásig és közvetítésig, miközben olyan kulcsszerződéseket is megvitat, mint az UNCITRAL nemzetközi kereskedelmi választottbírósági mintatörvénye, a New York-i egyezmény és a szingapúri közvetítési egyezmény.
