The editorial office of Publicationes asks for opinions on the submitted manuscripts from two reviewers in each case. Professional proofreading is anonymous; the author of the study is aware only of the content of the proofreading.
The reviewers offer their opinions on the anonymous version of the manuscripts. It is the authors' responsibility to replace the self-identifier citations and references to the text when the final version of the manuscript is prepared.
The Editorial Board appoints the professional editors from the Editorial Board and external professional reviewers based on the proposal of committee members. If the subject of the study justifies, the Editorial Board may also ask for professional reviewers having scientific degree and being familiar with the topic, besides the persons mentioned above.
The journal does not publish any articles that have not received the supporting opinion of at least one of the reviewers. However, the Editorial Board reserves the right to refuse manuscripts in spite of supporting opinions provided by the reviewers.
The Editorial Board informs the authors regarding the opinions of the reviewers (also in anonymized form) simultaneously with the notice on the acceptance or the refusal of the study.
The Editorial Board cannot pay a fee for proofreading, however upon request it issues proof of certification regarding the proofreading.
