FESZOFE Nonprofit Ltd. - Case Study on Improving Local Employment in Ferencvaros and the Reintegration of Homeless in Budapest

Since 2012, the FESZOFE Nonprofit Ltd. has been the biggest corporation employing homeless people in Hungary. Its effectiveness and successfulness is proved, beyond the award granted by the Ministry of Home Affairs, by the fact that its programme was adopted country-wide in 2014-15. The goal of this paper is to present the functioning of the FESZOFE Nonprofit Ltd. and to
map the possbilities for further development and adaptation. With this analysis, the authors intend to identify the alternative resolutions of social problems such as the (re)integration of endangered social groups into the labour market.
