Absztrakt

This article shows the application of Finite Element Analysis FEA using Siemens NX 12 Nastran for thermal and structural simulations of a CNC turning center CTX Alpha-500 Gildemeister. The simulations were performed under steady state conditions, stationary system, the heat generated by the workpiece and the machine is neglected and the control volume remains constant.
