Absztrakt

The form-shaping elements, the proportion and the rules of nature have been present in the machine and product design since their beginning. The main reason of this is that the message conveyed by a product design may often become the key to the overall success of the product, thus the designer should return to natural forms rooted deeply in the back of customers’ minds. These forms undergo constant changes, yet they carry reliability recalling the living world that carries stability of the existence. This paper focuses on its outstanding role, potentials hidden in the form design and the opportunities of form bearing elements that have already been proved to operate in the nature.
