Abstract

Lignates and coals as sorbents were investigated as active component of permeable reactive barriers for protection of aquatic reservoirs against the pollutants leached out from mining waste deposits and improperly sealed landfills. Based on static and dynamic experiments the applicability of these natural sorbent was prouved.
