Abstract

The object of this paper is to determine the stresses in hollow conical bodies caused by inner and outer pressures. It is assumed that in elastic state the material is incompressible, that is the Poisson’s ratio is 0.5. An analytical method is suggested to solve the problem. By the application of the presented method one can compute the stresses and elastic and plastic limit loads.
