Abstract

In this article the numerical simulation of a radial blower is introduced, which is available to determine the distributions of the several important flow parameters (e.g.: average temperature calculated for the cross-sectional areas) inside the blower aggregate. During the numerical investigation the heat energy turning out by electrical motor of the aggregate was considered by a specific heat source in the developed numerical model. The computed result provide information what brings about the 50°C temperature increasing in the blower aggregate, which leads to an increasing power consumption and it also may cause damaging of the equipment in long-term operation.
