Abstract

This paper deals with the solution of some statics problems concerning multi-layered beams with imperfect shear connections. The connections between the beam components in normal direction are perfect but the axial displacements on the common boundary surfaces of the layers may have jump. The slip is impeded by contact shear force acting in axial direction. The contact shear force is proportional to the interlayer slip. Two examples illustrate the application of the presented method. Both examples are related to three-layer beams.
