Abstract

The rainwater harvesting under present conditions is limited, and a mismanaged topic. Nowdays, there are probably many houses and gardens in Hungary, where rainwater is collected in tubs or barrels placed under eaves, then used for watering and car washing, possibly watering animals. This is not a good enough utilization, much better could be the use of the falling rain. Properly sized and built, underground tank can even collect all the raindrops falling on the roof. After proper treatment, it can connect to the house for bathing and washing, and it can even be used for cooking and drinking after further treatment The main topic is to explore and realize its potential.
