Talk-based interface integration smart home control

Abstract

With the dynamic development of smart homes, smart solutions are gaining ground in the home. With the advancement of information technology, voice assistants have become more and more widespread. Many large companies have voice assistants that can be integrated into a 21st century smart home. By integrating a voice assistant, you can control your smart home much more conveniently and naturally than any other device, since speech is the most basic form of communication between people. Our university took part in the Solar Decathlon competition, where the house can be controlled, among other things, by a fixed audio assistant. Solar Decathlon Europe is a 2019 international university innovation house building competition in which our university has participated in a consortium with the University of Pécs and the University of Blida, Algeria. My goal was to create a system that can integrate the audio system into the house control.
