Abstract

In this article, the investigation of the effect of diamond surface burnishing on surface hardness and cylindricity is reported, in case of different material qualities. The publication presents the burnishing parameters (burnishing force, feed rate, speed) examined at 2 levels as well as the change in shape correctness and Vickers hardness using the full factorial experimental design method. The measurement processes before and after burnishing were carried out on Wilson Instruments Tukon 2100B type measuring equipment for hardness, and Taylor Hobson Talyrond 365 measuring equipment for cylindricity.
