Abstract

Convective heat transfer from surface embedded in porous medium is considered over a vertical surface. The laminar boundary layer flow is described by a system of partial differential equations which is transferred into a system of ordinary differential equations by a similarity method. We examine the numerical solutions to this system and we give the similarity velocity and temperature profiles.
