Our goal is to present the severity of international and domestic air pollution and the steps and opportunities related to its reduction, and how these objectives can be matched and integrated into the operating processes of a city and what additional added value they can represent from a city operating point of view. In the first part of the publication, we present a comprehensive picture of air pollutants, their sources and effects, as well as their measurability. In the second part of the publication, the elements and operating principle of the metering network to be built for measurement through the FIEK project, as well as the information that can be extracted by measurability and their usability in city management. We propose a solution for the application of the metering network, and then summarize the applicability of the data in city management.
