Introducing a possible solution to integrate modern cloud based fleet management with electronic toll charging

Abstract

Today, the use of fleet management systems has become a key factor in freight forwarding, on the one hand, due to the constant pursuit of cost reduction and, on the other hand, to today's digitalisation trends. The latest fleet management tools are also tapping into the potential of cloud-based solutions, which will obviously make it even more attractive to more users. This is why the integration of these fleet management tools with the also recently prevalent electronic toll systems is becoming increasingly topical. The publication aims to provide a possible answer to this by presenting the possible integration of the Hungarian HU-GO toll system and the widely used RIO Platform.
