Mathematical model and CFD simulation of transient heat transfer process

Abstract

In this present study the phenomenom of transient heat convection is discussed, specifically the examination of the rolling elemens of the rolling bearings during cooling after the heat treatment. The theoretical and mathematical background of heat cunduction and convection and the limits of applicability, as well as the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis of the same case are presented.
