Multidisciplinarity of the sigmoid curves gives the posibility to describe, to modelize or to forecast several phenomena of our life. It is possible to associate some characteristic meaning and qualifications to the parameters of the equations, which makes possible more detailed qualifications of the phenomenon investigated. On the basis of these parameters several phenomena are comparable in a very correct, accurate and rigorous manner. Investigating newer and different phenomena, the knowledge and understanding of the signification of a given parameter could ephasize a newer and interesting characteristic of the investigated phenomenon. In this paper the parameters and characteristics of the curves discovered until today will be applied for the investigation by sigmoid curves the global warming phenomenon. Four characteristic curves will be investigated: average temperature of northern hemispere, carbon dioxide contamination curve, the Kleening- curve and the curve of the arctic ice extent. On the basis of the characteristics of the sigmoid curves, it will possible to forecast the possible future of the phenomenon, too.
