Abstract

This paper studies an ethane-ethylene separation column using a process simulation software. The study has two main goals, the first one is to find the parameters that will produce maximum overhead product, the second is to minimalize the required energy. This required energy is calculated by the heat flow of the reboiler, the condenser and the inlet.
