Abstract

The feasibility of cleaning ammonia-contaminated air was presented in the study. The basic goal in the calculations was to minimize the pressure loss, for which two types of column construction were investigated. The correlations found in the literature for the calculation of bubble cap and sieve plate columns were used in the calculations. The results were compared with the results of the Unisim Design process simulator software.
