Milkrun optimisation in an automotive supplier

Abstract

The topic of this article is the optimization of Milkrun routes used at the suppliers of the automobile industry. The following method first optimizes the route for one Milkrun cart, then expands the number of routes in order to fit in the given time limit. The optimization process and its practicability will be demonstrated through a concrete example.
