Abstract

This paper deals with the design process of the test rig for a comprehensive test of the hydrostatic bearings, which belong to a NC lathe. The measuring device presented in this article will be suitable for overdriving the factory bearings, which will make it possible to study the transient processes, so we can better understand the effects of hydrostatic bearings operating above the speed limit.
