Abstract

This paper deals with the introduction of a numerical method available to determine velocity distribution of the boundary layer flow around elliptical (in border-line case is cylindrical) cylinder by applying the Stochastic Turbulent Model (STM) proposed by Czibere. The wanted velocity distributions can be determined by numerical solution of this differential equation in special coordinate system of the boundary layer. This numerical computational procedure is named in the literature as „one-equation method” applying to solve the boundary layer flow around cylindrical rod. The numerical algorithm and also the developed computer code is available to investigate both the cases of laminar and turbulent flows.
