Abstract

The velocity distributions on horizontal plane or an inclined plane are examined in the transport of bulk materials. This process is modelled by boundary layer flow. Boundary conditions are considered on the plane and on the surface of the transported material to the equations of continuity and motion. We examine the velocity distribution for different material properties, constant conveyor speed and different inclination angle.
