Abstract

In present paper the research results about the materials technology of the Innovative Materials Technology Scientific Workshop are briefly summarized. The weldability and the formability of high strength steels and aluminium alloys applied in the vehicle industry were investigated by numerical modelling and physical simulation aiming at the development of the production processes.
