Abstract
Department of Production Engineering at College of Nyíregyháza and Department of Production Engineering at University of Miskolc cooperates in research of environmentally conscious machining by experimental and simulation methods. In this paper we develop previous modelling results. The aim is quasi-static investigation of the mechanical interaction between the drilling tool and the workpiece. The phenomenon is simulated as contact problem. Forces and torques applied in the simulation comes from experiments. This study gives insight to the mechanical interaction during the machining, and prepares further dynamical investigations.
