Abstract

In this paper, we present the shape and size optimization process of a laminated optical table used in a high-precision hologram printing machine through strength and thermal deformation studies. We perform our calculations using the geometric modeling and mechanical and thermal simulation modules of an integrated engineering design system. We use the relevant modules of the CREO 6.0 integrated engineering design system for our investigations.
