Abstract

The paper presents the most important features of Holonic Manufacturing Systems (HMS). We would like to present that there is a context among the HMS and the aggregation theory. First, we start with the elemental holons, and then we discuss the cost-optimisation equation. We focus on another mathematical rule of the optimisation theory among the subordinated holons. We have to decide how much the central holon should be burdened in order to control the subordinated holons in a better way.
