Simulation and finite element study of the injection moulding process of a product designed from a biodegradable polymer

Abstract

Within the frame of this paper, the authors present an example of a simulation and finite element study of the injection moulding process of a product designed from a biodegradable polymer. From the results obtained during the simulations, it was concluded that the chosen biodegradable polymer is suitable as a raw material for the tested products.
