Abstract

The paper concerns with the development of plastic strain in non-proportional loading, when the loading path is of two-segment nature, for the case of plane strain. The synthetic theory of irrecoverable deformation is taken as mathematical apparatus. The aim of the paper is to establish boundary deviations from the proportional loading at which the synthetic theory gives results identical with Hencky-Nadai deformation theory
