Abstract
The research work aimed to determine the fatigue crack propagation resistance of different materials under different environmental conditions. Fatigue crack growth test specimens were cut from austenitic stainless steel and from K-type welded joints made of unalloyed steel and austenitic filler material. Two and three different temperatures and different agents were applied during the examinations, respectively. Paris-Erdogan equation was used for describing and characterising the fatigue crack propagation resistance.
