Abstract

The establishment and operation of the supply chain of small and medium-sized enterprises producing and selling food supplements on a commission basis has a great impact on competitiveness, as it significantly influences the way in which individual customer needs are met (quality, deadline, cost). In recent decades, market demand for food supplements has increased significantly, further strengthened by the pandemic situation from 2020, while digitalisation trends that are prevalent today have opened up further new opportunities for this type of supply chain distribution. The multi-level optimization process presented in this publication enables a high level of optimization of the distribution logistics processes of companies producing food supplements by commission sales.
