Abstract

The solar heat gain always reduces the space heating demand of a building. In Hungary under the 7/2006. (V. 24.) Ministerial Decree this quantity can be determined by reduction. In case of extreme low energy buildings most of the heating demand is covered by the passive solar gain, therefore the exact calculation of this amount is significant. During the planning processes it is useful to know the energy gathering capacity of the glazed structures depending on the quarters. In this paper the determination of this characteristic is demonstrated. A particular case of a passive house and specific glazed structures are analysed depending on the quarters.
