Abstract

The Drinking Water Improvement Program’s objective is to supply healthy drinking water for the population. In the framework of the EU legal harmonization based on the 98/83/EC Directive limits the Governmental Decree No.201/2001. (X.25.) Korm. on drinking water quality requirements and control came into force in November of 2001. This study includes the local features and execution of Drinking Water Quality Improvement Program in Szabolcs-Szatmar-Bereg County.
