OVERCROWDING IN PRISONS IN HUNGARY AND SLOVAK REPUBLIC

Abstract

The aim of this study is to point out on current problems is prison system related to prison overcrowding in Hungary and Slovak republic. Prison overcrowding is an essential problem that deserves attention. The study contains information and statistics about overcrowding of prison facilities. The authors also offer de lege ferenda ideas to resolve this alarming situation.
