Innovative solutions in light of social role of the state

In the recent period, it can be seen that the coronavirus epidemic can have severe global and local consequences. All of this may amplify processes that have already shown trends prior to the emergence of the virus. The aim of this essay is to examine the effects of artificial intelligence and automation of work processes on the labour market and the employment situation. From the point of view of labour law and employment and the measures taken by the Member States of the European Union, we will try to provide a general summary of how to deal with the effects of pandemic-induced labour market changes through the application of digital technology, automation and artificial intelligence.
