Payment methods in cross-border transactions

This study aims to identify payment transactions that serve to overcome a serious dilemma in international business law. A conflict may arise between a seller and a buyer who are far apart regarding the time of delivery of the goods and the initiation of payment. What legal solutions does the field of international payments offer, and how can the interests of both parties be taken into account? These questions are investigated in the present paper.
