Algorithmization of PID algorithm in control systems

Abstract

The paper presents the construction of an applied analog PID algorithm. The algorithm is implemented in FBD (Function Block Diagram) IEC standardized language. The FBD programming language is supported by PLC (Programmable Logic Control) and DCS (Distributed Control System) development environments. The article shows how to make an algorithm from a mathematical numerical analog formula that we can use in the control system. It deals with the benefits of a user-created algorithm for different applications.
