The article examines the current and future development of Hungary's solar energy and wind energy production from an unusual perspective. It examines two consecutive thirty-year periods through changes in the capacity factor of solar and wind power plants under three climate scenarios. The analysis was carried out for eight NUTS2 regions of Hungary. Such studies contribute to increasing efficiency by combining resources and integrating areas with different production patterns, which has the potential to maximise production and minimise production uncertainty. You may want to do these with different vertical and horizontal resolutions.
