Abstract

Financial stability can be identified as a form of public interest in legislation, which is why the need for a definition of the concept is expressed as an expectation on the part of the legislator, given that it serves as a basis for significant public intervention - ex ante and ex post. In view of all this, the study aims to examine the theoretical and legal appearance of the concept of financial stability. The study analyzes the emergence of the concept of financial stability in the literature, in legislation, and in the application of law. Despite the fact that the concept of financial stability appears strongly in the scientific literature, and even in legislation and law enforcement, its boundaries are difficult to identify. In view of all this, the study attempts to define the working concept of financial stability.
