Abstract

Property contracts of family members have a special place in the system of contracts. The relevant legal provisions generate a complex system, which contain the family law norms and the general provisions of contract law also. Regarding the content of contracts, content freedom is fully exercised, but at the same time in the Hungarian legal system there is a various limit of the contract freedom. One of the limits is precisely the invalidity of contracts. In this study, I examine the invalidity of family property contracts, specifically from the viewpoint of proportionality of values.
