Abstract

The role of social media in everyday life as a communication platform and as a source of information is outstanding. However, in addition to its many positive effects, it has several characteristics that could have detrimental consequences for the user community. The law also responds to some of these, although different legal areas govern different violations. The study focuses primarily on the auto-aggressive behaviors which have outstanding danger because of their seriousness. With descriptive, comparative, case analysis method the research seeks mainly from a criminological and psychological point of view to answer the question of the forms (including cyber suicide) could be found on online platforms and of their possible effects on youth age group.
