The right to go to court and to participate in proceedings is a fundamental right of all people, including children. However, due to their legal status, children's access to justice is quite limited, so when they participate in proceedings, we shall ensure that their rights are effectively protected by procedural guarantees, bearing in mind the best interests of the child.
