The Legal Basis for the Individual Features of Producer Group

Abstract

The operation of the producer group is based on the European Community legislation. In Hungary, the cooperatives, considered as small and medium-sized enterprises, may receive such a title, on the basis of the recognition by the State. The producer group, after the establishment receives substantial EU and national aid, in return, the members of the group are obliged to produce a legally defined product or group of products in a regulated manner, to sell products through the producer group and to participate in the controlled market mechanism by providing data.
