Abstract

The study uses the results of economic research to demonstrate the role of the state as a public finance regulator in the economy. What justifies state intervention through regulation and how the extent of this changes in economic history after economic crises. However, in addition to market failures, the literature also raises the issue of government failures. In addition to economic intervention, the state plays an important role in the performance of public tasks. The modern state is taking on more and more public tasks, which further enhances the role of the state as a regulator in economic processes.
