Abstract

The aim of the study is to present and analyse Hungarian legal regulations concerning assistance dogs. In 2009 a ministerial decree was adopted about the training and usage of assistance dogs. The legal regulation changed several times since the adoption of the ministerial decree. In this process, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary had an important role, who dealt with the problematical points in several reports. The article presents the change of legal regulation and the problematical points, which has to be upgraded in the future.
