Commemoration of Professor F-J. Peine as Honorary Doctor of the University of Miskolc

Abstract

Franz-Joseph Peine (1946-2021) was an influential professor of German administrative law, who had a very wide range of professional interests and whose textbooks are still used in many universities today. He had professional contacts at several Hungarian universities, especially in Miskolc and Debrecen. The authors of this article were in a professional friendship with him and now pay tribute to his memory with the following lines. Not only them, but also members of the wider domestic and international professional community owe much to the former scientist.
