Social dialogue and climate neutral policies

Abstract

Involvement of stakeholders and dialogue with the social partners is of paramount importance for the implementation of climate-neutral policy and the circular economy. With the European Green Agreement, the European Commission reaffirms its commitment to tackling climate and environmental challenges, which is a key task for our generation. The atmosphere is warming, climate change is being felt year after year. This transition must be fair, and the fair transition mechanism itself will support regions that are highly dependent on highly carbon-intensive industries.
