Abstract

The fifth event of the Humboldt conference series, organised by the University of Heidelberg and the University of Miskolc, was held in June 2025. The occasion sought to further elaborate the professional discourse that commenced in March 2024, when the current questions of environmental criminal law were in focus. The field of environmental and climate protection continued to be in the centre of discussion, however this time the speeches went beyond the area of normative criminal studies, examining the relevant criminal compliance issues.
