About the Journal

Theory, Methodology, Practice (TMP) - Review of Business and Management was launched by the Faculty of Economics, University of Miskolc in 2002, with the aim of providing a forum for high-quality original research papers on the subject of business (including the business environment) and management.

In 2011 the journal adopted a double-blind peer review system ensuring that only the articles of the highest quality are published.

TMP is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

TMP is indexed/listed by DOAJ, Proquest, EBSCO, RePEc, ERIH PLUS, the Elektronische Zeitschriftenbibliothek EZB (Electronic Journals Library), EconBiz, Google Scholar, ROAD and MTMT (Hungarian Science Bibliography) .

REAL and REAL-J - the archiving services of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences - are used for archiving TMP issues.

Starting from 2015, TMP adds Crossref DOIs to the published articles.
